Hood Retention for Concealed Carry

Our patent pending Retention X IWB holster was designed for the simple purpose of ensuring your firearm remains in the holster at all times and only comes out when you want it to. You should not have to choose between active retention or concealment, and now you don't have to.

The retention hood on our Retention X holster is designed to easily lock forward when pushed on with your thumb during your drawing motion. This allows the user to unlock the hood while at the same time gripping the weapon.

A heavy duty .08mm spring holds and also returns the retention hood into the locked position. The belt brace rests on top of the user's gun belt and prevents the holster from shifting forward when the hood is being pressed forward. The front and rear adjustment allows for making adjustments for the user's comfort and clearance.

After the weapon is holstered, the user simply pressing back on the retention hood allowing it to return to the locked position with assistance from the spring. The weapon can also be holstered if the retention hood is in the locked position simply by pushing the weapon into the holster and the spring-loaded hood locks in automatically.
